As a physics teacher, math is our second language in the classroom. I sense the stress students feel around math and I make it a priority to alleviate that stress with real world applications, examples of mathematics in nature, and concrete examples with step-by-step instruction. My ultimate goal is to build a student’s motivation with natural curiosity and provide the tools and study habits necessary to perform academically.
