I graduated with a B.A. in Communications from UC San Diego and went on to work as a Writer and Digital Media Producer at NBC 7 San Diego for 2.5 years, before moving to Seoul, South Korea to teach English at an academy. I'm Jazz! During my time in the classroom, I fell in love with teaching and always strive to build an environment where my students feel comfortable, and enjoy learning. For me, discovering my students' strengths and building upon them together, while encouraging them to continue improving in other areas has always been rewarding.
Since 2020, I have been an online English tutor on Ringle Inc., teaching English to Korean students from around the globe. Many of my students are working professionals in tech, marketing, engineering, pharmaceutical, biology, business, and teaching fields. In each online session, my students and I focus on dissecting and discussing specific topics, resumes and cover letters, mock interviews, presentation prep, and conversational English. Many of my students express they enjoy my lessons as I strive to make each class as comfortable and specific to their needs.
I am fluent in Punjabi, Hindi and conversational Korean, having spent 6.5 years living in Seoul, South Korea until Dec. 2024.
I always welcome feedback from my students, and encourage them to offer suggestions for any ways to make each lesson more engaging. I am always available to reach via email, and usually respond within a few hours.
