My name is Aaron and I graduated from the University of California, Davis with a degree in Biological Sciences, where I built a strong foundation in subjects such as biology, biochemistry, and chemistry. In March 2026, I took the MCAT and scored in the 99th percentile (523). As a tutor I not only to teach content, but also to guide students in how to approach complex passages, manage time, and think critically under pressure.
I am particularly strong at CARS and bio/biochem, and have developed methods to approach passages that I find worked incredibly well, minimizing errors and building confidence as you practice. However, I appreciate that some methods work better for different people, and it is important to work towards tailoring a strategy to improve areas you may struggle with.
I have over 10 years of tutoring experience working with students ranging from elementary school through college. My teaching has taken place in a variety of settings, including one-on-one sessions and informal peer instruction, which has helped me learn how to adapt my approach to different ages, learning styles, and academic goals.
