Professional and knowledgeable
I found Simon to be timely, professional and insightful. I liked that before our meeting he asked what my goals were and based on my concerns we were able to have a productive meeting. He was honest and forthcoming in his critique and I saw my material in a new light. I would definitely use him in the future and would highly recommend him if you don't know what you don't know! My only small criticism was a barking dog in the background.

negative experience unfortunately
Simon was initially very kind and helpful. I'm new to storytelling but was hoping to get a bit of guidance, graphic organizers to help with character arcs, or homework to distill the main pivots in the story. Simon wasn't able to offer me that unfortunately and instead discouraged me from storytelling.

Great mentor
Gave me perspective on the industry, and guidance on how to reach my goals with the story I created.

Great insights!
I love talking to Simon. The insights I got from my story were great. I will probably change a lot of the story structure, but getting a professional opinion about it was worth it. If you don't mind constructive criticism, you should be fine. So, if you want to make your script great and improve your craft, I recommend Simon.
