I am a professional engineer with a B.S. and M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Physics from the University of North Georgia. My academic and professional background gives me a strong foundation in math, physics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and aerospace engineering, along with real-world experience applying these subjects to complex engineering problems.
While attending UNG, I tutored Calculus I and II, Chemistry, and Physics, and I also served as a Supplemental Instructor for Precalculus. In both roles, I focused on breaking difficult concepts into simpler steps so students could build confidence, solve problems independently, and prepare effectively for homework, quizzes, and exams. As a Supplemental Instructor, I regularly taught groups of 5 to 20 students in additional class sessions, helping increase average student scores by about 15 percent.
During my time at Georgia Tech, I participated in outreach programs where I taught math and aerospace engineering concepts to K-12 students, and several schools requested repeated sessions because of the value students received. I also served as the head mentor at a STEM work camp, where I taught robotics to students ages 10 to 12 and helped them develop problem-solving, teamwork, and technical thinking skills.
My tutoring style is patient, structured, and focused on understanding. I do not just show students how to get an answer—I help them understand why the solution works so they can apply the same reasoning on their own. My goal is to help students strengthen their fundamentals, improve their confidence, and develop the skills they need to succeed in the classroom and beyond.
