I am Claudia! I graduated from CSUN with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. I received the highest academic achievement in my high school class and delivered the valedictory at the graduation ceremony. In college and university, I was able to maintain an over 3.5 GPA even though I had a fulltime job at the time. I had the wonderful opportunity to work for the Lancaster School District providing direct services to families and children in need of support. I provide individual and group tutoring and have witnessed firsthand the impact on the students’ academic performance when provided extra support. Most students only required a couple of sessions until they figured out a way to study independently. I am always a call away and ready to develop a new study plan for students that need more support. Students can contact me if they have questions or need to schedule more lessons!
I have taught math and Spanish mostly from Kindergarteners to sixth graders. Understanding that we all may have different learning styles. I try different teaching approaches to maximize the student learning experience. I would introduce firsthand experiences, graphics, interactive exercises, and life examples to bring a clear understanding of the importance of grasping a concept. I provide a free of judgement environment to nourish creativity, innovation, and resilience. Additionally, I held tutoring sessions in person or virtual after school or during the weekends. The classroom setting will be the one that benefits the student the most.
There is a free consultation meeting that can be completed virtually or in-person. I understand life happens and the student may need to cancel a class. I would genuinely appreciate a 4-hour cancellation notice to accommodate another student on that time slot. Can’t wait to meet you and work with you!
