I am deeply passionate about psychology and committed to providing exceptional care and tutoring to individuals with or without mental health conditions. With a strong background in applied behavior analysis and ongoing clinical psychology doctorate training, I am confident in my abilities while embracing the humility that comes with all the new stuff I am learning. I am also very comfortable and experienced in managing challenging behaviors especially those that may impair one ability to focus and learn new material. Witnessing positive change in my current clients at work continues to drive my commitment to providing to a wide variety of individuals.

I worked at a school district in New Mexico for two years where I provided one-on-one care and taught basic school skills such as math, science, and english to individuals ages 5-13. I also provided in home services to individuals who have ASD and other comorbid learning impairments for 3 years. This reinforces my desire to extend my abilities to teach and provided the knowledge I have gained through 7+ years of college experience and 5 years of work experience. I am starting my practicum at Sharp hospital soon so I hope to be able to provide around 5 hours a week of tutoring via Wyzant.

I hope to be able to find clients who need help in areas such as psychology and presentation skills but i definitely have to ability to teach a larger array of subjects such as biology, mathematics, history, English, and much more considering those subjects were all prerequisites to obtaining both my bachelors and masters degree and get into the doctoral program I am currently in.
