Honor Student and Patient Math Tutor

I am an honor student at Cal Poly Pomona with an Associate Degree in Mathematics and a strong academic background in math, science, and problem-solving. My education has given me a solid foundation in subjects such as algebra, geometry, precalculus, calculus, and general study skills. I enjoy helping students build confidence in subjects that may feel challenging at first, and I focus on making difficult concepts easier to understand through clear explanations and step-by-step practice.

My tutoring approach is patient, organized, and personalized to each student’s needs. I begin by identifying where the student feels unsure, then I explain the concept in a way that connects to what they already know. I like to work through examples together, ask guiding questions, and gradually help students solve problems more independently.

My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them understand the material well enough to feel confident applying it on their own.

I have experience helping classmates and younger students with homework, test preparation, and reviewing difficult topics one-on-one. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adjust my explanations based on the student’s pace and learning style. Whether a student needs help catching up, preparing for an exam, or strengthening their understanding of a subject, I aim to create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making progress.
