Being able to get up in front of people and speak in very challenging and I have helped many students overcome that fear. Understanding what you just read is a challenge for most people. Too many times students read something put don't understand it. I have a proven method of reading comprehension that students have found makes reading more enjoyable.
When it comes to career development being first with ideas, proposals and facts helps them rise above others in business. Business careers are built on speed, in other words, getting a jump on your competition wins contracts and builds success. I will challenge the students to be organized and to be aggressive with solutions to business problems that will make or break a business.
I believe all of us have management potential, in other words, with the right teaching students can succeed in project management. Organizational skills are essential to good management. I have students first learn to organize their time their resources and information. The internet has become the information highway, but that's not where it stops. That information needs to be validated and that's very time consuming. Time management along with organizational skills will help in projects being successfully completed.
