Hi! My name is Nicole and background is in math and science. I received my associate’s degree from a community college, my associates degree in physical therapy, my BS in Kinesiology, and I am now enrolled in a Master of Education program and working toward my teaching credential. I have had to change careers from physical therapy to something less physical due to an unforeseen injury. I currently work as a substitute teacher and volunteer in elementary school classrooms.
When I pursued my degree in physical therapy, it required a strong background knowledge in math, anatomy, chemistry, physiology, and physics. Working in PT, I have had to provide education to my patients on a daily basis. I found joy in this and seeing their successful results. I was motivated to go the route of education as a new career to see students succeed.
I love math. I can help in basic math up to college algebra. Science is also another passion of mine and I can help in earth science, anatomy, general chemistry, basic organic chemistry, kinesiology, and exercise sciences. It would be my pleasure to help you succeed in your academic adventures in math and science.
