For the past 25 years, I have served as the lead physics teacher in a highly competitive and well-regarded high school program. I hold a Bachelor's degree from UCLA and a Master's degree from Pepperdine University. In addition to full-time teaching, I have extensive experience tutoring students through another organization.
While I’ve taught a range of physics courses, my primary focus has been Advanced Placement Physics. The AP courses I have taught include AP Physics C: Mechanics, AP Physics C: Electricity & Magnetism, and AP Physics 1. I also taught the material now covered in AP Physics 2 for over 20 years, consistently achieving excellent results.
Over my career, I’ve had the privilege of preparing more than 5,000 students for AP Physics exams.
Students often tell me that I make complex concepts understandable and that my practical, common-sense approach to problem-solving builds their confidence. Many describe physics as their favorite class, and returning students frequently share their continued success in college-level physics.
