I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) and earned a Minor in Spanish from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona). I also hold an Associate Degree in Engineering and Science. Additionally, I am BILA Accredited, certifying my ability to teach Physics in Spanish—a unique combination of language and STEM expertise.
I am currently completing my Single Subject Teaching Credential in Physics from CSULB, which has included completing classroom observation hours. I also hold an active Substitute Teacher License, allowing me to work in diverse classroom settings.
My tutoring experience is extensive. During my Associate Degree in Engineering and Science, I tutored all levels of mathematics, from Algebra through Calculus. While completing my Bachelor’s in Physics, I also worked as a Physics Tutor, supporting students in mastering complex scientific concepts.
I am fluent in both Spanish and English, which allows me to effectively support bilingual students and those seeking to improve their Spanish skills. My background uniquely positions me to connect Spanish language learning with real-world applications, especially for students interested in science, engineering, and technical subjects.
Whether your goal is to strengthen your everyday Spanish or improve your academic Spanish for success in STEM courses, I am here to help you build confidence and achieve your learning goals.
