My name is Elizabeth G. I graduated from the University of California, Davis with my Bachelors of Science in Psychology. I completed my emphasis in Biology and have taken a variety of mathematics, statistics, and science classes in my undergraduate career. I am starting a Developmental Psychology PhD program in the fall at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
I have tutored students in literature, writing, history, psychology and mathematics in the past. In high school I started tutoring dancers at my local dance studio and have also had the opportunity to tutor neighbors and friends. I am passionate and dedicated. My goal is to help the children I work with and I will spend as much time as needed to help students feel confident and get the results they are looking for! I often take the opportunity to prepare study aides before hand and review material so that I am prepared for our tutoring session.
As a psychology major I have taken classes ranging from calculus to statistics. Generally I prefer to assist students with statistics, elementary school math, pre-algebra or algebra 1.
I have a passion for history and took Advanced Placement Exams in US History. I use a variety of study methods to help students remember important dates, people, and significant events such as wars.
My schedule is very flexible and I will do my best to accommodate your needs. Please feel free to contact me about scheduling a session at your home, my home or another location!
In my spare time I enjoy taking my dog on walks, reading and baking! Please let me know if you have any questions! I appreciate your time and consideration!
