Bilingual K5 Tutor and Spanish Instructor Supporting All Learners

I hold a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education with minors in Bible and Spanish, and I have over twelve years of experience in the field of education. This includes seven years of classroom teaching, three of them in a bilingual immersion school, and five years in supportive roles such as instructional assistant, independence facilitator, and Paraeducator IV. I tutor all K5 subjects and Spanish for students in elementary, middle, and high school.

Throughout my career, I have taught and supported students in general and special education, including English Learners and students with IEPs. I have experience administering the CELDT assessment and working closely with multilingual learners. These roles have strengthened my ability to differentiate instruction, personalize learning, and create supportive environments where students feel seen, capable, and motivated to grow.

In addition to my teaching experience, I am expanding my qualifications with ongoing training. I am completing a Yoga, Meditation, and SEL certification through Breathe for Change, working toward my Google Educator Certification, and pursuing my Bilingual Authorization (beginning of 2026). I enjoy integrating technology, SEL practices, and creative strategies into learning. I also have experience teaching virtually, which helped me become flexible, communicative, and skilled at supporting students in online spaces.

My approach is patient, structured, and encouraging. I break down concepts clearly, model strategies, and help learners build effective habits that lead to independence and confidence. I love walking alongside students as they discover their strengths and develop the tools they need to succeed academically and emotionally.
