I started tutoring college students at 18 years old at my college. As a math major, I was two years ahead of my class. I took college math classes as a senior in high school. I tutored college math courses for four years. My topics included Calculus I, II, III, Linear Algebra and Probability. I completed a full math major at Claremont McKenna College in 2005. After college, I taught English in Japan for a year and started freelance tutoring in 2010.

I have over 10 years experience tutoring math to students. Elementary up to college age students accepted. My BA is in in Economics and Mathematics from Claremont McKenna College. My lessons are engaging and fun. I try to teach in the manner the student likes to learn. I use games and ice breakers during lessons. I am flexible in my schedule and location. And I enjoy watching students learn mathematical concepts and apply to other disciplines.

My teaching style is to learn how to best help my student. I use different examples to help illustrate concepts. I also use little and games to open the mind. Math is a beautiful science that everyone can learn. I am patient and encouraging. I want my students to succeed and feel comfortable with the material. My students receive A's and B's in their math classes. I look forward to helping new students enjoy the art of advanced mathematics.
