I have taught in the classroom and have also worked one-on-one with students through private tutoring and academic enrichment.
My tutoring approach is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each child’s needs. I especially enjoy helping elementary students strengthen their reading comprehension, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and foundational academic skills. I break concepts into manageable steps, provide guided practice, and adjust lessons to the way each student learns best.
After many years in the classroom, I now enjoy working with students in a more individualized setting. My goal is to help children understand what they are learning while building their confidence and independence as students.
