I am especially passionate about helping children learn to read. I specialize in phonics-based instruction that builds strong decoding skills, fluency, comprehension, and, most importantly, confidence. Over the years, I have supported many struggling readers and students performing below grade level, helping them make meaningful and measurable progress through structured, research-based approaches.
My experience also includes working closely with students with autism and other diverse learning needs. I am skilled in implementing IEP-aligned instruction and creating customized strategies that support both academic and developmental growth. I place a strong emphasis on positive behavior support, using proactive strategies, clear routines, and encouragement to help students feel successful, independent, and motivated.
Above all, my tutoring approach is patient, engaging, and tailored to each child’s unique learning style. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel capable, confident, and excited about learning.
