I have over five years of experience helping pre-medical students get into medical school, and having spent a year on the admissions committee of a T25 medical school, I know what medical schools are looking for in your personal statement, activity descriptions, secondary essays, and letters of recommendation.

My name is Jack, and I graduated from Georgetown University in 2020 with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Spanish. I attended medical school at the UC San Diego School of Medicine and graduated in 2025 with my M.D. I am now an anesthesiology resident, but in my free time, I love helping demystify the medical school admissions process.

I took the MCAT in 2019 and received a 521 (99th percentile), with the following subsection scores: Chem/Phys 129, CARS 131, Bio/Biochem 129, Psych/Soc 131. I applied to 26 medical schools in the 2019-2020 application cycle, and I was accepted at 7 of the 8 medical schools I interviewed at. I also served on UCSD SOM's admissions committee for a year.

I love helping pre-med students prepare for the medical school application process and can help you build a well-rounded school list, perfect your AMCAS / AACOMAS / TMDSAS application, and crush your interviews with thorough program research and mock interviews. I am also experienced with college counseling and preparation for residency applications. If you need help learning how to use Anki to study for the MCAT or USMLE exams, I am your guy!

Please don’t hesitate to message me, and I will get back to you as soon as I can!

Biology

I have always been passionate about Biology, from taking AP Biology in High School, to earning my B.S. in Biology from Georgetown University in 2020. After taking "Foundations in Biology 1" my freshman year at Georgetown, I served as a Teaching Assistant for the course for the next three years, including as a Head TA my final year. In addition to my coursework, I worked in a research laboratory focusing on biochemistry and microbial genetics. Now, I am a medical student at the UC San Diego School of Medicine.

Best tutor for the med school admissions process!

Jack has been so incredibly helpful throughout this whole journey. As someone who doesn't have any doctors in the family, navigating this process has been difficult and Jack has provided valuable feedback on all aspects of my application, starting from the school list. He also has a lot of good advice to share, especially having been on an admissions committee.

Amazing tutor.

Jack looked at my AMCAS personal statement and activities section. He broke down both of them. With his expertise in medical school, he showed how my documents could become so much better and gave an insight into how admissions would view my essay. I highly highly recommend him!
