Nancy taught me verb conjugation and vocabulary, and insisted on speaking to me in Spanish, even though I speak almost none. I like that, as it forced me to concentrate on understanding and learning as I went, even when she had to repeat many times in many ways. She's a great tutor!

Exactly what I was looking for!
In my search for a Spanish tutor, I was so overwhelmed by the many different tutoring companies, classes and number of tutors out there. I appreciated how quickly Nancy responded to my messages and how easy it was to schedule a session with her. In our first lesson, she dove right into speaking Spanish with my boyfriend and me, who are interested in gaining fluency in speaking, reading and understanding Spanish. She speaks clearly and was very encouraging and positive throughout. She took her time getting to know our backgrounds and why we wanted to learn Spanish, and informally assessed our current level through some conversational exercises. We felt very comfortable with her and are confident we can make progress being taught by her. We look forward to continuing working with Nancy!
