As a school counselor, I have been trained to listen, provide support, advocate and help students navigate their way through their early schooling years and into college. I am well versed in these domains. I grew up in La Jolla and understand all too well the demands and pressure students can feel throughout this process. I graduated from UC Davis with degrees in Psychology and History plus a Master's Degree from National University in School Counseling. I am available for counseling and/or tutoring at all levels for elementary school students. At the middle school level, study skills are my level of expertise as that's seems to be the time when student's can fall behind (despite complete understanding of the subject) due to poor organization and lack of appropriate study skills. For high school students, I provide counseling for college-based decisions, essays and applications.
