Hi! My name is Prisha and I'm a current university student majoring in molecular and cell biology. I graduated high school with the International Baccalaureate Diploma, earning the maximum score of 7 in Higher Level Biology—I'm eager to help middle and high school biology students with whatever they may need and hope to show off how interesting a subject it can be!
I also have experience in AP English Language and AP European History, having taken both exams and received a 5 on each, so I'm fully able to provide help in these areas as well! I led a student tutoring group for AP European History students during high school and would host monthly study sessions prior to tests, as well as help write study guides and demonstrate strategies with practice exam questions. As for AP English, I helped tutor it as part of my high school's tutoring club during my senior year, alongside biology and European History.
My teachers, especially my biology teacher, are the ones who have shown me the importance of meeting someone with a genuine passion for what they do. This translates into their ability to engage their students, and I hope to be able to do the same for others. I especially like incorporating real-world examples into my lessons to show how interesting your subjects can be outside of the classroom.
