Hi! I’m a relatable and encouraging teacher/tutor with almost 25 years of experience in SAT & ACT prep. I’ve perfected my program and refined its application with all types of people. My students are never bored, and I can get a LOT accomplished in one session! I started out with Kaplan in Silicon Valley, where I became one of the highest rated teachers and was selected as a teacher trainer, academic director, and primary marketing presenter in the SF Bay area in 6 months. I started my own company in 2004, created my own SAT & ACT curriculum to be more effective, and have taught over 1,000 students with it. My students have achieved incredible results, from SAT increases of 400 points and ACT increases of 13 points to many top 10% scores (including perfect scores). I take every test as soon as it’s released and get a perfect score every time.

I follow the Golden Rule of teaching: explain it the way you wish someone had explained it to you. I communicate in normal language, enjoy helping students see the big picture and how things make sense, and remind them of the relevance of those real-life thinking skills in life, work, and making money. Parents and students often tell me the skills they learned from my course made them better at everything else!

I started with Wyzant in 2018, but I soon had overwhelming demand and had to go offline (hence only a few reviews). I recently moved, and I’m now accepting students for personal tutoring and my small personalized classes at 60% of the price.
