Hello! My name is Amandeep, and I am a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and California-licensed pharmacist with a passion for teaching. I have several years of tutoring experience throughout high school and college, working one-on-one with students in math, algebra, English, and science. My education and professional experience have strengthened my skills in mathematics, science, critical thinking, and explaining complex concepts clearly. I am comfortable working with elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as college and pharmacy students. I can also tutor advanced subjects including pharmacology, pharmacy calculations, pharmacokinetics, therapeutics, and NAPLEX preparation.
My tutoring style is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each student's needs. I break difficult topics into manageable steps, work through examples together, and adjust my explanations based on how each student learns best. Rather than simply giving students an answer, I focus on helping them understand the reasoning behind it so they can confidently solve similar problems independently. I especially enjoy seeing the moment when a difficult concept finally clicks for a student and their confidence begins to grow. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes, and developing skills they can carry into the classroom and beyond.
