My teaching style is to build a strong conceptual framework for the student. Teaching in this way builds confidence in the student and allows them to teach themselves how to learn. This means that the student will eventually be able to learn entirely on their own and no longer need a tutor.

I'm almost afraid to provide a review for Professor Thomas L. because I don't want his schedule to get too busy! However, I must say that Professor Thomas L. is not only a knowledgeable and natural teacher, he is a mentor. My son's confidence has improved with Professor Thomas' patient, generous, and kind manner. In addition to being impressively credentialed, Professor Thomas has a gifted way with students.
