Hi! I'm a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a bachelor's degree in Psychology, and a master's degree in Health Care Informatics with a concentration in Health Data Analytics from the University of San Diego. I have over seven years of clinical experience in pediatric oncology, where I developed a strong foundation in patient assessment, pharmacology, pathophysiology, clinical decision-making, and patient education.

Having gone through nursing school myself, I understand how challenging it can be to learn large amounts of information while preparing for exams. My approach to tutoring is to make complicated concepts easier to understand by breaking them down into manageable pieces, connecting them to real-world clinical situations, and using memory aids when appropriate. I believe understanding why something happens is far more valuable than simply memorizing information.

I offer personalized tutoring for nursing students who need help with nursing fundamentals, pharmacology, pathophysiology, cardiac nursing, pediatrics, oncology, and NCLEX-style questions. Before each session, I encourage students to share their course objectives, upcoming exam topics, or areas they're struggling with so I can prepare a focused lesson. During our sessions, we'll work through difficult concepts, review practice questions, and discuss the reasoning behind correct and incorrect answers. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and leave each session with a stronger understanding of the material.
