Hi, I'm Jaidon! I am a sophomore at the University of California Santa Barbara, pursuing a bachelor's degree in biopsychology, with the hopes of attending medical school. I attended high school at La Canada High School in La Canada, CA and graduated with a 4.51 academic GPA. I took multiple AP classes and received an AP Scholar with Distinction award during my junior and senior years. I currently have a 3.97 GPA at UCSB in the Letters and Science Honors Program.

My passion for tutoring began during the COVID pandemic in 2020. I tutored elementary students online through video learning services like Zoom and Google Meets for subjects including Math, Reading, and Writing. All lessons were in a one on one format with curriculum provided to me at least one day before the session. I found that online tutoring provided unique resources to both me, the tutor, and the student that elevated the learning experience. Additionally, the convenience of online sessions made it far easier to reschedule lessons and accommodate to student's changing schedules.
My main goal is to help students achieve a better understanding of what they learn in class, and I am always open to suggestions on how to approach lessons to support a student. Knowing how stressful the demands of school can be, I hope to help students build confidence and knowledge through our interactions.
