Hello! I'm Zo. I have a BA with three majors: cognitive science, psychology, and communication sciences. I also have a certification in animation. I've completed three research pieces, two of which are being screened for potential future publishing. I'm a hobbyist of sorts as well, as I'm also a writer in my own time.

I love to edit writing! It takes a lot of critical thinking to be able to spot those tiny mistakes, which makes a big difference when you're making an argument as to how your audience may take your word. I love to give away my strategies so you can pass 'em on and make good use of 'em yourself.

I got a 35 on the ACT reading section, and high scores in the SATs as well. Turns out they're basically the same test! Generally speaking, both the ACT and the SAT are just big reading tests, so I can give you plenty of great tips as to how to beat the test and pass with flying colors.

I have Autism and ADHD myself, and one of my majors in college was communication sciences. In other words, I have experience on both sides of the speech pathology table! I can assure you that no one communicates better with those on the spectrum than others on the spectrum.

I have a lot of experience editing and helping out my classmates in a number of workshops throughout high school and college. Through middle school, high school, and college, I also ran a creative writing club. I have tutored math up to Algebra II and essay composition to grade schoolers for about six years.

In the digital art realm of things, I am familiar with Adobe Illustrate, Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, Medibang Pro, FireAlpaca, FlipaClip, and Toon Boom Storyboard Pro. I am aware of many functions of Procreate as well.

I have extensive training as to how to work with ADHD through my communication disorders degree. I also grew up with ADHD myself, and have had a lot of training as to how to not only control my symptoms, but utilize them helpfully. I assist students by passing along my strategies, providing a structure, or working alongside my students to find strategies that work for them personally.

I have grown up as an Autistic student given speech pathology assistance up and until high school. In college, I have been learning the strategies and disorders involved in speech pathology under the communication sciences track, and even shadowed multiple speech pathologists for 40+ hours. I have found through years of experience that the easiest person for an Autistic individual to relate to is another Autistic individual.

Engaging and interesting artist with a broad experience base

I hired Zo to help my daughter learn some basic drawing skills. My daughter often likes to try just a bit of something and then not pursue it further and my goal was to get her to experiencing "just going a little further." Zo found out what interested her and has put most of her lessons into that context, which has really helped with my daughters engagement level. She's excited about drawing.
