About Sheldon

Bio

Before Covid, I worked by day as a computer consultant and nights and weekends as a professor at a grad school. But, for now, I'm staying home. I still do the grad school work nights & weekends. So, that leaves me looking for something useful to do in the daytime. That's where you come in. I'd like to help you with whatever you need help with. Before my kids entered college, I served as their homeschool teacher for math & science.

In case you're wondering, I've set my rate here at 20%...

In case you're wondering, I've set my rate here at 20% of my normal rate. I'm not here to make a fortune off you. I'm here to help out.

I've been professionally programming since 1971, and have been professionally teaching since 2012. I love teaching people how to do more with less effort.

I've given you my pitch. Now it's your turn. A word of caution: I won't be doing your homework for you.

excellent tutor

Sheldon is a very knowledgeable and patient tutor who facilitated my thought process while working through code in C. I hacked my way through a few projects in C the past and have significant gaps in my understanding, and he pointed out the reasons underlying many of my mistakes.
