Hello! I'm Mansi, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from California State University, Fullerton with my Bachelors in International Business, and from the University of San Francisco with my Masters in International and Development Economics. I am a full time academic researcher at UC Berkeley and enjoy bringing my skills in academia to my teaching sessions. I have been a tutor for 4+ years and enjoy working with students to build a strong foundation and cultivate new skills. Specifically, I have experience in developing analysis skills with complex literature, and also building writing skills to compose a breadth of papers. I have worked with a diverse set of students on subjects including AP Literature and AP Language, and I also enjoy supporting students who are writing personal statements for their college applications. As a former speech and debate judge, I have an extensive background in public speaking and I enjoy working with students to build confidence and develop effective communications techniques.

My most impactful teachers were those who could personalize lesson plans to meet my needs while also aligning with my interests. I remember having teachers who were always willing to adjust their office hours and provide extra support, all to ensure my academic success. This is the approach that I aim to bring to my students. I enjoy tailoring curriculum to match the long term goals and interests of my students. Also, I aim to have a flexible schedule so as to provide review sessions, follow up lessons, and last minute feedback whenever necessary.
