Friendly, Encouraging, and Very Knowledgeable!
I had been looking for a tutor to help me learn Korean over the long term, and Soo's resume seemed great! During our first lesson, she quickly assessed my (relatively basic) skill level and dove right in. She is friendly, encouraging, and very knowledgeable, and I was confident enough in her skills that I immediately purchased a couple books from which we can continue lessons. Recommended!

Excellent first lesson!
My first Japanese lesson was excellent. Because of my weird amount of previous knowledge, we spent a large amount of the time finding my exact skill level and where I need to start. It was very fun to try to communicate my own thoughts in Japanese, and Soo was very patient with me while I fumbled my words. I look forward to future lessons and I have high hopes for the final results.

Experienced and patient Korean tutor
I need to learn Korean in a relatively short time span for my job and Soo is the right kind of tutor for me. She came with a plan but she's also very flexible and the goal was to get me to where I need to be conversationally within a short period of time. Her pronunciation is clear (and authentic!), she's easy to follow and the class material is fun. Highly recommend her to anyone who wants to learn Korean!

Came prepared, laid out a lesson plan, and set expectations within minutes of starting the session. One of the things I was very happy with was her level of communication and professionalism that is not nearly as common as it should be. I also found her to be easy to learn from and approachable. Overall, an excellent tutor and highly recommended.
