Rhetorical devices got you down? I absolutely love analyzing text and helping students better understand how to achieve their goals, reaching their highest potential on the Language and Literature exams!

In high school, I took both AP Writing Courses: AP Language & AP Literature and received the highest possible scores on both exams! My writing helped me get into NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in New York City, where I worked on a television show for ABC in production. After graduating college, I moved back to Los Angeles, where I have consistently written for online publications, entertainment news websites and for corporations who need content writers to create original marketing material and blogs for their websites.

My passion for tutoring young adults, as they traverse the shifting terrain of middle school and beyond is about more than just words on a page. I believe in practicing patience, giving encouragement and holding students up to their highest standard, while meeting them where they're at.

While I do have a 24-hour cancellation policy, I offer make-ups and am flexible with scheduling. In the past, I have worked closely with parents who have been very satisfied with my contribution to their child's progress. In addition to homework and essays, I have assisted in the daunting college application process with great success.
