Kirby's level of relatability definitely helped me click with him. He was still professional and formal enough that it felt like I was being given valuable advice, but he was still laid back to the point where I felt like I could admit what I knew/didn't know. He let me talk and didn't stretch out the lesson plan for the sake of padding out our time.
