I am a native Korean speaker with experience teaching Korean language and art at a Korean community school in Southern California. I have worked with students in a classroom setting and enjoy helping learners feel comfortable and confident as they develop their Korean skills. My educational background includes Graphic Design and a master's degree from Harvest Bible University. I currently work in the international art field, managing projects and communicating with people from different cultural backgrounds.
My Korean lessons can be adapted to each student's level and goals. For beginners, I can help with Hangul, pronunciation, basic vocabulary, and everyday expressions. For students who already know some Korean, we can focus more on natural conversation, listening, pronunciation, and expressions that Koreans actually use in daily life. I also enjoy incorporating Korean culture and real-life situations into lessons so that students understand not only what to say, but when and how Korean expressions are naturally used.
I especially welcome adult and college students who want to learn Korean for conversation, travel, culture, or personal interest. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and practical. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes while gradually becoming more confident speaking Korean.
