My academic background spans a wide range of disciplines, from data analytics and software development to healthcare, biology, and project management, which is what allows me to confidently help students across subjects rather than just one narrow area.

My teaching experience comes from my work as a private tennis and pickleball coach as well as an academic tutor, where I've worked one-on-one with students ranging from preschool age all the way to seniors. Adapting to such a wide range of learners has sharpened my ability to meet each person where they are, whether that means breaking a complex concept into simple steps for a younger student or pushing an advanced learner to think more critically.

When it comes to tutoring, I focus on building genuine understanding rather than memorization. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Michigan Technological University, a business-focused degree that gave me deep exposure to topics including data analytics, systems analysis, project management, Agile methodology, financial analysis, and business process improvement. During my time at Kaiser Permanente, I worked as a Data Engineering Project Manager where I gathered business requirements, coordinated with cross-functional teams, and delivered a scalable SharePoint-based solution that integrated real-time data across enterprise systems including Epic, ERDS, and ServiceNow. I also served as Scrum Master on multiple team projects, leading sprint planning, retrospectives, and stakeholder communication using Agile principles — experience that gave me a practical, hands-on understanding of how businesses actually operate. As a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the top business honor society for AACSB-accredited schools, and a Magna Cum Laude graduate with a 3.8 GPA, I bring both academic excellence and real-world business experience to every tutoring session.

I also served as Scrum Master on two university capstone projects, where I facilitated sprint planning, ran retrospectives, managed cross-functional teams, and kept deliverables on track from concept through launch using Agile methodology. My MIS degree at Michigan Technological University included dedicated coursework in project management, business process analysis, systems analysis and design, and risk management — and I completed real projects using tools like Microsoft Project, Project Libre, Gantt charts, Work Breakdown Structures, and FMEA frameworks. I competed for four years on the NCAA Division II Varsity Tennis Team at Michigan Technological University, earning ITA Scholar Athlete honors all four seasons and developing a deep understanding of technique, strategy, and mental performance at a competitive level. I also founded and captained Michigan Tech's DUPR Collegiate Pickleball Team, coaching and leading an unranked program all the way to a Regional Title in Eau Claire and a Nationals appearance in Dallas in 2024. Since graduating, I have been working as a private high-performance tennis and pickleball coach in Irvine, California, training players of all ages and skill levels — from preschoolers picking up a racket for the first time to adults looking to sharpen their competitive game. My coaching style is highly adaptable and player-focused, emphasizing fundamentals, footwork, and game strategy while keeping sessions engaging and fun regardless of the student's age or experience level.
