When I learned that American high school students also have a demand for learning Chinese language and culture, I began researching the key focus areas of the AP Chinese Language and Culture exam. I discovered that beyond requiring pure pronunciation and the ability to communicate normally, the real challenge lies in mastering the culture behind the language and its integration. This is actually a great thing, because culture and language are intertwined. I will lead students in an in-depth study of the culture while helping them master the language more solidly.
