Earning my B.A. in Political Science at the University of California, Irvine, scoring a 172 on the LSAT and gaining admission to Georgetown Law, as well as working for more than three years at a law firm, has made strong writing and analytical thinking central to my academic and professional life. In college, I graded assignments for my former professors, which not only taught me how to evaluate student writing with a careful, critical lens, but also gave me gave me valuable insight into how instructors plan coursework, anticipate areas of difficulty, and guide students through challenging material in a structured and supportive way.
Additionally, my past experience as a camp counselor and as a babysitter for over 8 years have shown me that children (and most certainly adults as well!) need trust to trust a person before they are willing to learn from them. While mentoring teens in a summer-long leadership program, I worked to understand each student’s personality and motivations and helped them gain confidence in their abilities and a willingness to take on new challenges.
I aim to build this same level of trust with my clients by tailoring each lesson to the individual’s needs and fostering confidence, clarity, and true understanding of the material. Whether I am helping you study for classes, strengthen your writing, or prepare for a major exam, I will work with you to develop a strategic study plan that breaks the process into manageable, achievable steps.
