Hello! I am currently a M.D. Candidate at the California University of Science and Medicine and recently graduated summa cum laude (4.0) with a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Music. I have been tutoring biology-based subjects for several years and have also served as a Teaching Assistant for Anatomy & Physiology, General Biology I, and General Biology II labs. In these roles, I led lab sections, prepared students for practicums, created review materials, and provided one-on-one academic support to help students strengthen their understanding of course content. I’ve also worked as a private STEM tutor and BIO101 mentor, supporting students through foundational science courses and the pre-medical track. Through consistent positive feedback from students, peers, and professors, I have developed a teaching style that is clear, engaging, and focused on building both knowledge and confidence.

I take a very personalized approach to tutoring, breaking down complicated concepts into straightforward, digestible pieces. Understanding how each student best learns is my priority, after which I tailor explanations, study strategies, and practice methods accordingly. Active learning is also emphasized via guided questions, practice problems, visual aids, and practical memorization techniques that facilitate deep understanding instead of superficial recall. Whether you want to master challenging biology concepts, prepare for exams, or strengthen overall study habits, my goal is to help you feel confident, capable, and genuinely excited about the process of learning.
