I'm Dan! I bring a combination of working experience for many elite-tier Big Tech companies (Google, Microsoft, VISA, Nvidia, Docusign) with teaching experience in academia environments (from mentoring in a professional work environment to college level and all the way to elementary school level).
I graduated Summa cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (also valedictorian in middle school and high school). I also did a Masters (postgraduate) in Computer Science at USC! Over many years as a student I have had amazing teachers and professors - I have truly learned from some of the best. My ultimate goal is to bring that experience to students.
During my years of professional work (as well as academic courses), I have accumulated experience in Engineering and Computer Science: AI, Automation, Cloud, Big Data, Software Engineering and Development. My best programming language is Python and UNIX-based systems are the main ones I work on. I have conducted (countless of) interviews for major companies and know what skills are the most relevant. I have guided learning professionals on these topics during my work years.
I have been teaching since early years in school, all the way to college and mentoring at elite professional work level. I taught my classmates in elementary/middle/high school and during college. I also formally was a Teaching Assistant (TA) for different courses (both college level and for elementary school level). I have guided learning professionals during my work years. I strive to make my explanations as easy, simple to understand as possible and to decompose complex topics into their fundamentals and simple parts.
I want to make/create the best learning experience possible for students, therefore welcome any resources/suggestions/feedbacks/comments/questions provided by students (or parents if applicable). I make myself easy to be reached and do my best to be as responsive as possible. Please feel free to contact me to schedule a lesson/session or with any further questions! :)
