Hi! My name is Marta and I am a professional photographer and photo-retoucher based out of Southern California. I started off in photography six years ago, and progressed to being one of the top sports photographers in endurance sports (specifically triathlon) in Italy, after moving there to pursue my Bachelor's in Visual Arts. Hi! My name is Marta and I am a professional photographer and photo-retoucher based out of Southern California. I started off in photography six years ago, and progressed to being one of the top sports photographers in endurance sports (specifically triathlon) in Italy, after moving there to pursue my Bachelor's in Visual Arts. I shot notable events such as the 2024 Tour de France, ironman World Championships, and Strade Bianche. I won the 2024 Ocean Watersports Photo of the Year in Lifesaving, and have been published around Europe for my reportage and humanitarian works.

With over 4 years of professional photography experience, I am now also a photo-retoucher, and am currently working with the agency of Massimo Sestini (winner of the 2015 World Press Photography Award). I continue to teach editing masterclasses as well as individually tutoring photo editors as well as young photographers starting out their own careers. Teaching for me is purely a passion and I hope this site allows me to continue helping people develop their skills in photography and the visual arts.

I also have three years of experience in graphic and web-design and would love to give feedback and guidance in beginners in those topics as well.
