Hello! My name is Julia, and I am a 4th year undergraduate student at UC Santa Barbara. I have many years of experience with tutoring K-12 students. Most recently, I have been volunteering with a team of UC students who provide online tutoring sessions to underserved students across California. Our aim is to reduce educational inequity while also providing fun and engaging sessions for our students, and I have worked with students in the K-12 range on subjects such as English and Ethnic Studies. Additionally, I work at a teaching center in which I provide Common Core-aligned English and math lessons to K-12 students. I am confident in my ability to work with your student and look forward to hearing from you!
Lastly, my tutoring method centers on creating a trustworthy and fun environment for my students to best be able to learn, ask questions, and grow. I respond to the various needs and accessibilities that my students require as best as I can, and I genuinely enjoy working with them.
