I’m here for you! I have taught thousands of students in a classroom setting as a university professor (Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Iowa State University) and many more in one-on-one and small group sessions. I have received multiple teaching awards.

My goal is to help you gain confidence in chemistry. Wherever you are in your journey, I will work with you - whether you are scared of chemistry or are in love with it, whether you are stressed before the upcoming exam, are studying for MCAT or DAT, or want to brush up on a particular topic. I will help you “own” your knowledge and understand how chemistry works, not just settle for dull memorization of scientific facts.

The way our sessions will work depends on your level of preparation and particular goals. If you have a specific topic that you happened to miss in class, that challenges you during homework, or that you need to be a master of by the time of your exam next week – we’ll discuss exactly that, starting from the underlying principles and finishing with plenty of examples. If you have no idea where to even start – we will build your foundation from scratch, I’ll show you how this subject is not only easy but also enjoyable if to approach it in a right way.

I know plenty of tricks and useful analogies that allow to intuitively understand even the hardest concepts of chemistry. Over the years, I have designed multiple handouts, short videos, and assignments that we may refer to during our sessions.

I'm located in Irvine (North Park) and am willing to travel up to 10 miles to find a distraction-free location where we can focus on helping you become successful. Or we can meet online – whichever mode works for you!
