An Effective English Tutor Specializing in Speaking and Writing

Hi there! I am an experienced High school teacher who has taught in private schools for over four years. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education with English as my Major in the University of San Jose Recoletos. I am also pursuing my Master's Degree in Literature. I am currently a freelance writer and private English and Writing tutor, as well as an IELTS and TOEFL coach for ESL students.

I have taught High school English and Literature for two years. I have also conducted research and debate classes from 5th-grade classes to the 10th grade. Recently, I have taught numerous TOEFL and ESL classes and I have received my TESOL certification. I have also conducted after-school tutorial services in all subjects. I focused on reinforcing lessons during my tutorial sessions and also assisting them in their assignments. Furthermore, I curate different activities and assessments from various sources that would be beneficial to the students overall productivity. I always try to create a conducive environment for learning in a relaxed yet goal-driven state

As an educator, my principle in teaching is to always help the student integrate their lessons into the real world. Because of this, the experiences during the lesson will be worthwhile and meaningful. Applying different theories and techniques, I have come to discover through my own experiences as a teacher that creating a habit of wanting to learn about new ideas will always have a greater payoff. That is why I would love to use this opportunity to teach more life-long learners and help them pursue their goals.
