Excellent math skills, knowledgeable and patient
Alessio, 17 lessons with RawanRawan is a great tutor! She is able to explain the math to me better than my professor. I've been struggling in college algebra and was feeling that pace was too fast and overwhelming. Rawan is able to get me back on track. She has been more than helpful - she is flexible, accommodating, and always makes me feel like I've succeeded.
As a passionate math lover, I tutored math at my community college for two years, then independently after I transferred to university, and helped every student I tutored to pass with good grades. I received A grades in all courses that I'm tutoring and professors at my community college sought me out to be an in-class tutor for them. I then graduated from UCLA with a bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics.
I have tutored teenagers, students in their twenties, thirties, and even fifties....

Rawan has been teaching my 14 year old daughter for over 10 lessons now. Rawan has carefully determined the level at which to challenge her with her math skills and my daughter is growing in her confidence to learn more and more challenging math. Rawan has also been very accommodating with some scheduling changes.

committed teacher
Rawan is an excellent teacher and was able to help me understand difficult pre-calc topics. She later followed up on a question I had during the session . Thank you

Rawan has really helped me with Pre-Calculus, and she gives you an experience not accessible in a traditional classroom. She is very kind and patient.

Best decision I've made regarding my child's education
The lesson was for my 11th grade child who is normally a A-B student but has been struggling with Calculus since September. After the first session she came to me and with pure joy showed me her notes and said she learned more in one hours then she did in the last 4 weeks. We have scheduled another session and I am happy to say that Rawan is so impactful that will not need many more.

Super helpful and patient tutor!
I went through several tutors on Wyzant before I had the opportunity to find Rawan, and I can truly say that she has helped me a lot with precalculus just through a couple of classes. Thank you so much Rawan for your help!
