Darrell is a fantastic History tutor!! I came across him when I was looking for a U.S. History tutor for my daughter. Darrell responded to my search very promptly. He made himself available and we were able to set up the first meeting time right away. I was extremely amazed by his knowledge and expertise in the subject of U.S. History. He is like a walking encyclopedia! I was also impressed that Darrell could speak at least 3 other languages. My daughter, who is not thrilled with history, actually enjoyed her sessions with Darrell. He made the history lesson fun and much more enjoyable for her. She learned a lot from Darrell and he helped her to be better prepared. I would highly recommend Darrell as a tutor!
It was a joy to sit with Darrell while tutoring my son, grade 8. Since I know nothing about American history I have many questions to be asked which I find the answers with Darrell. Also Darrell is very generous. He typed us two essays he wrote about ideas we've discussed as extra information. Also he brought two extra books about history that made it easier for my son to read history.
THANK you Darrell. You are on time. THANK YOU.
I hire Darrell for a history tutor for my daughter since June. At first session I was blown away by how much he knows the history. I could point out the world map and ask him the history of the country and he would know. He is very gentle and warm person and makes it fun for learning. I originally came from Japan and was surprised that Darrell knows real well about the Japanese history. It feels like that he has the knowledge of an encyclopedia of history. I would highly recommend Darrell for history and English tutor. He is excellent in what he does and I found it better than the rest. So I asked Darrell to teach English to my daughter from September.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
