I am currently in school to be a Mechanical Engineer and pride myself in my accomplishments. I am currently in school to be a Mechanical Engineer and pride myself in my accomplishments. I put a lot of effort into developing myself which consists of AFROTC (Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corp), studying to achieve and maintain my 3.8 GPA, and extracurriculars such as flying, marathon running, and weight lifting. My accomplishments have earned me my past internship at QED where I led a team that built accelerometers. Here I was offered a return offer for the head of the department with a $100k a year salary. Additionally, I have been working out a position to intern with Boeing under a team lead for the X-66 aircraft (experimental aircraft program).
With all of the time that I spend studying, I have become a good tutor. Along with solidifying the material for myself, I have gained a passion for helping others in my courses. I find it very rewarding and would hope to continue this through a more professional means. On top of this, I worked with the youth pastor team at my church in the past which provided me the opportunity to learn how to communicate with kids and teens of all ages. Overall, tutoring would allow me to follow my passions, but also provide me some additional funds to help me through the school year.
