For AP Calculus AB, I build a strong base first. We go through limits, derivatives, and integrals step by step until each idea makes sense, not just until the homework is done. Then we practice with real past AP exam questions, especially the free-response section, so students learn how to show their work clearly and earn full credit. Many students struggle in calculus because of small gaps in algebra or trigonometry, so I find and fix those gaps early.
In every lesson I am clear and patient. I ask students to explain their thinking out loud, I end each session with a few practice problems, and I keep parents updated on progress. My goal is a better grade and real confidence going into the AP exam in May.
