Bio

I hold a MS in Robotics from the University of Michigan, and also a BS in computer science and electrical engineering with a minor in math (GPA 3.98). My experience at SpaceX, NASA, etc. allow me to supplement students' learning with unique real-world examples. In my free time, I have pursued various electronics/coding projects, including one that has over 500,000 views on Instructables.com.

My experience at SpaceX, NASA, etc. allow me to supplement students' learning with unique real-world examples. In my free time, I have pursued various electronics/coding projects, including one that has over 500,000 views on Instructables.com.

I have tutored since high school—at first providing help only for math/science, but then branching out to more specific topics within CS and EE. As the president of an engineering club, I held weekly workshops to teach students embedded programming, robotics, and other engineering topics. I enjoy helping students in every stage of the learning process, from the initial topic exposure to industry applications. If you're looking for instruction on an assignment, getting ahead on a school's curriculum, or even guidance on a DIY project, I'm the guy you're looking for.

I've recently finished my graduate degree in Electrical Engineering (robotics focus) at the University of Michigan. I have experience in industry as an intern at NASA Ames Research Center and graduated summa cum laude with BS in Electrical Engineering. Also, I have helped out for my college's electrical engineering tutoring club (IEEE-HKN), and have been an unofficial TA for a few EE classes (Microcontrollers, Circuits, Signals and Systems, Controls, Robotics).

My computer science background revolves heavily around embedded programming (C, Arduino, etc.), but I have also worked on large software projects at NASA and in school (C++, Python, Java, Git, etc.). I have excelled at coursework in courses in data structures, algorithms, machine learning, and artificial intelligence (AI) — in addition to high-school level classes like AP Computer Science A.

Feel free to contact me through Wyzant for more information about scheduling lessons and I'd be happy to help :-D

Top notch tutor

Noah was very patient, worked through problem I had with getting C# to communicate to a RDU into. He was very methodical and thorough, explaining and checking that I understood along the way. I highly recommend Noah as a tutor and for all things code.

Knowledgeable in Python and circuit boards

Noah went over my code in Python for a microcontroller that I am working on. He was able to quickly come up with solutions to several issues I had with my code.

He breaks down terms for beginners easily l!

I’m new to programming and he helped me understand important concept that will be common in coding. He understands that coding is difficult so he repeats himself without a problem. Really nice and patient.

Great First lesson!

My daughter loved her first lesson with Noah! She said he was super knowledgeable, helpful, explained things well and allowed her to do the work rather than just showing her. Looking forward to more lessons!

Java Data Structures and Scheduling Algorithm

Noah was very helpful! I needed help with a project implementing data structures and a scheduling algorithm in Java. He was very knowledgeable. Able to jump in and understand what I had already written, what I was missing, and helped me understand what was being asked.
