After graduation, I returned to my hometown and taught high school English before moving to the Texas Medical Center in Houston, where I worked for both Baylor College of Medicine and The University of Texas Health Science Center.
I've taken and passed the CBEST (California Certification "equivalency" exam), and I look forward to helping students succeed on a one-to-one basis.
I pursued a Masters in Education at The University of Houston-Clear Lake (NASA), but had to forgo completing my masters, due to serious family illness.
I enjoy sharing reading for understanding, writing skills (including how to write essays), and inspiring students to express themselves in their writing.
