I hold a BA in History and Political Science, an MA in Education, and a Teaching Credential with experience teaching grades 6-12 in both public and private schools. After seeing firsthand how the classroom system can fail individual students, I've committed to helping students one-on-one or in small group tutoring, where I can actually meet each student where they are.
Over the years, I've supported homeschool families across grades K-12, and I'm also a trained life coach with over 1000 client hours. Academic struggles are rarely just academic - confidence and mindset matter just as much as content knowledge, and I'm equipped to address both.
Today I work virtually with middle school, high school, and college-level students in navigating History, Math, and Philosophy, as well as helping them understand the work with their natural gifts and struggles to find the academic and personal success they seek. My goal is simple: students leave our sessions not just knowing more, but feeling more capable and confident.
Outside of work, I love to garden, read, and fish, and with homeschooling 6 kids, along with my wife, there is never a dull moment.
