I love teaching because of the reward I get from helping my students achieve success. I am patient and make learning fun and relatable. Working for Non profit organizations such as LACOE, LACCD, and EL Proyecto del Barrio as a HiSET Instructor has given me the privilege of having tutored 100's of students in Math and Science of all ages and all levels successfully achieve passing scores on their HiSET and GED exams. Having attended Medical School, has given me a vast knowledge base in the field of medicine and related subjects such as Anatomy, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Pathology and Pathophysiology of diseases and management. With this knowledge base I was able to help Nursing and Medical students achieve high scores on their professional licensing exams, respectively, the NCLEX and USMLE exams by tutoring them in related subjects. Majoring in Physiological Science at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), gave me a unique opportunity to start my career and hobby privately tutoring fellow college students helping them achieve a superior knowledge base in related math and science subjects and have a greater understanding of the physiology of living things. I have always excelled in math receiving high grades at every level up to calculus II as a requirement for my major. I have also received an Associates of Science degree in Biology from Los Angeles Valley Community College, which has yielded a strong foundation in math and science and made possible everything else since, namely UCLA and then attending Medical School at AUA, College of Medicine.

I specialize in Math and Science tutoring for tests such as the HiSET/GED, SAT, GRE, GMAT, MCAT, NCLEX, USMLE. I teach all math subjects including Elementary Math, Pre-algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre-calculus, Probability, Statistics, and more. I have lots of experience with Common Core method of teaching, as it is the style I use in all my sessions. I specialize in K-12 level science tutoring as well as college and graduate level

Great Chemistry Tutor

Ramsin S. was excellent in helping my daughter prepare for her high school chemistry final. He was very patient and thorough. He made sure my daughter understood the formulas and concepts before moving on to the next topic. She was really lost but after four tutoring sessions with Ramsin she went into her Chemistry final with confidence.

He can teach all most anything!

I have three children. 2 need support in math, one seems to have a gift for numbers. The best thing about Ramsin is I invite him around for a couple of hours and I know he can help the kids on math and all other subjects too. So no one escapes having to do homework which makes for an equal playing field and a happier household!

Best Educator I've had

Ramsin is probably the best teacher that I've had, he's helped me greatly improve my knowledge, to prepare for the HiSET. I've always had trouble focusing in school due to my (ADHD) but he helped me with much patience. He went above and beyond in helping me learn the needed materials in a short amount of time! I highly recommend him, he helps you learn at a reasonable pace and teaches you in ways that best suits you. Not to mention Ramsin is very friendly and gave me excellent advice that has stuck with me. What I also liked was how compassionate he is, you can tell how much he wants you to succeed and how much time he's willing to put for your overall success.

Microsoft Excel, graph charts, statistical analysis

I worked with Ramsin during my Fall 2020 semester. I needed help with experiment design, work with extensive datasets in Excel, graph charts, SPSS and statistical analysis. We had the first few lessons in person at home, which was extremely important for a successful start and assimilation of new material. Then we continued our tutoring sessions online. The sessions were very helpful and comfortable keeping in mind that English is my foreign language. He helped me complete my class successfully and acquire new skills. I highly recommend Ramsin as a tutor in many subjects.
